LENZO, forever being the #JETSETTER of the squad, has decided to fly all the way to Copacabana to spend our NYE relaxing poolside and partying up a storm!!
Well, we didn't exactly trot halfway across the globe, but we did try to recreate the ultimate holiday feeling in our very #TROPICAL New Year's Eve Bash. Starring LENZO's muse, Olivia Rogers, this party was all about getting into the summer fun and hosting a party like no other!
Our party was shot by the talented Kas Richards and set in the gorgeous blank space of XO Studios, with our idea to create an indoor pool party! We adopted a summer palette of greens, blues, whites + pinks, with touches of black to add in depth and contrast. Instead of florals, we opted for crisp plants from Mosey, which were placed in the #CUTEST baskets from Fazeek homewares.
With this, we stopped by Lark Store to shop up on the latest inflatables and hired Dann Event Hire's tiki-inspired furniture. For the table setting, we wanted to do something a bit different as always, and opted for a DIY floor grazing table, which we made using Haymes Paints and palm cut outs. Don't worry, it isn't as complicated as it seems and we will be taking you through a step by step guide ASAP! To finish the look, Mickey Loves Jacqui sent us some of the most amazing bespoke foiled stationery - we are #inLOVE!
Food is always key to entertaining guests, so Peter Rowland Catering had us covered with a healthy yet hearty spread. Think a decadent spread of prawn skewers, quinoa salad + zesty oysters, that was finished with a #DELICIOUS pavlova and frozen greek style yoghurt treats from Bulla Dairy Foods. Made with fresh local milk and real Greek yoghurt cultures, these treats are the perfect dessert option as you and your guests ring in the New Year! Why not try them out as we’ve done in a delicious fro-yo bar? For drinks, the girls from PRC helped us make some delicious cocktails using Schweppes, which will be shared on our blog over the next few weeks...
So what will LENZO be wearing this #NYE? Well, of course we have already booked in Isabella Quinn to do our makeup and we are currently deciding between #THAT Steele pants + crop outfit or Mister Zimmi's palm inspired jumpsuits. To finish the look, if we want to go a bit #LocoCoco, Botanics of Melbourne's unique fruit headpiece is the way to go, or The Lost Tribe for a more demure finishing touch. Oh, and don't forget a Louie Couture leather clutch to carry all your party goods around with you!
And this new year's, we will be counting down in lights thanks to the Little Letter Light Co, as well as planning out all our resolutions in the ever so trendy Amelia Lane Paper diaries, which even include motivational quotes so that you stay on track to reach your goals - #tooCute!
